About Whitney
Whitney is a Registered Dietitian with a background in weight management research who specializes in nutrition counseling for adults with ADHD, emotional eating and prevention of chronic disease. She is passionate about helping people cultivate a healthy relationship with food and using evidence-based tools to improve overall mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
Approach to care
She uses a person-centered, anti-diet, holistic approach to meet people where they’re at- whether it’s improving your relationship with food and body image, looking to prevent or manage a mental or physical health condition, or building healthy habits across the lifespan. She has counseled individuals, families and couples from all backgrounds and walks of life, and empowered them with realistic and adaptable strategies to ultimately feel better inside and out.
Your first session with Whitney
She will do a comprehensive nutrition assessment, including current habits around sleep, activity and hydration. She will also ask about your food preferences/intolerances, cultural and/or religious background, stress levels, mental health and barriers to success. She will take all of those things into consideration when collaborating with you to create a personalized and sustainable nutrition plan.
