About William

I have had a passion for nutrition and exercise since the age of 15, a journey that completely changed the way I view food and its role in overall health. This early appreciation led me to pursue my education at Illinois State University, where my interest in nutrition continued to grow and take shape in a more meaningful, real-world way. Through my academic and professional experiences, I developed a patient-centered approach focused on sustainable, practical nutrition strategies. Today at Nourish!, I use this foundation to help patients build healthier relationships with food and achieve their personal wellness goals.

Approach to care

My approach to care is rooted in both personal experience and evidence-based practice. After struggling with weight management at a young age, I became deeply interested in understanding nutrition beyond quick fixes or restrictive approaches. That experience, combined with my education and training as a dietitian, allows me to approach care with empathy, realism, and a strong scientific foundation. I focus on meeting patients where they are, using individualized, sustainable nutrition strategies that fit their lifestyle, preferences, and goals. Rather than promoting rigid rules, I emphasize education, behavior change, and long-term habits that support overall health. My goal is to help patients build confidence in their food choices and develop a balanced, practical relationship with nutrition that they can maintain over time.

Your first session with William

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about your goals, daily routines, food preferences, health history, and anything that feels important for me to understand about your relationship with food and nutrition. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, we’ll take a realistic, gradual approach to change. Small, meaningful steps often lead to the most sustainable results, and we’ll build habits at a pace that feels comfortable for you. Because everyone’s needs are different, creating the right plan takes time. As we continue working together, I’ll learn more about what works best for you, and we’ll adjust your nutrition plan along the way. My goal is to provide a supportive, judgment-free space where you feel heard and confident moving forward.
