About Wimberly

Nutrition has been my compass for 27 years, guiding work across hospitals, schools, community health programs, sports nutrition, research and academia, and clinical care. Much of my experience has been with dementia patients, oncology, enteral nutrition support, palliative care and pediatric nutrition. With an MS in Food and Nutrition from the University of Georgia and practice as an RDN and LD, I blend science with practical, individualized plans. Outside of sessions you'll find me running or hiking, discovering new restaurants, traveling, cheering at my children's sports events, or doting on my doggies.

Approach to care

Evidence and empathy guide how I partner with patients. I practice through a Health At Every Size, weight-neutral lens while using current research to shape practical strategies. We'll focus on sustainable habits, clear action steps, and measurable progress, while also addressing emotional, social, and lifestyle factors. I aim to educate so you understand the why behind recommendations, empowering you to make choices that fit your life and last long term.

Your first session with Wimberly

Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we review medical history, labs or biometrics, activity level, allergies, and food likes and dislikes. We'll take a thoughtful look at your relationship with food and build a realistic meal plan and short-term goals together. You don't need to have it all figured out; this is a low-pressure visit where we'll identify practical first steps and a plan we can adjust as we learn what works for you.
