About Xin

Hi, I’m Xin, a registered dietitian who believes food is far more than nutrients on a plate—it’s identity, culture, connection, and a way of living. Born and raised in Malaysia, spending five years in Australia, living in San Francisco, and now calling New York City home has shaped how I approach nutrition with deep cultural humility and curiosity. Clinically, I bring a unique breadth of experience across the lifespan. I work as a NICU dietitian and have also practiced in adult and pediatric settings, which gives me a strong understanding of how nutrition impacts health from infancy through adulthood. I’m especially passionate about helping women navigate their nutritional needs at every life stage, whether it is perinatal, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause.

Approach to care

My approach to care is weight-inclusive, evidence-based, and free from diet culture. I focus on helping clients build sustainable habits rather than quick fixes, restrictions, or perfection. Together, we work on practical skills—such as learning to meal prep nourishing meals, setting up daily routines, and digestive support strategies—that fit into real life and support long-term success. I ground our plans in current science while staying curious about your lived experience. I’m direct and action oriented, translating research into practical steps you can actually follow.

Your first session with Xin

Our first appointment is a warm, low pressure conversation about you. We’ll establish both short-term and long-term goals and review your medical history, lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress levels and physical activity, and your relationship with food. We’ll discuss lab work and biometrics where relevant, and I’ll listen for what matters most to you. No need to have everything figured out yet just show up as you are! I’ll meet you where you are and we’ll lay a simple, actionable next step that you can start implementing right away to make progress toward your goals.
