About Yasmin

I’m a proud mother of three beautiful kids and two lovable fur babies, and my passion for helping others live healthier lives has guided my career as a registered dietitian since 2008. I spent 10 years working in the UCLA Bariatric Clinic and 7 years with the UCLA Pediatric Fit for Healthy Kids program. These experiences have shaped my understanding of nutrition across all ages and life stages. My mission is to educate and empower you so you can make meaningful, lasting nutrition changes that truly support your health. I don’t believe in fad diets, quick fixes, or ā€œone-size-fits-mostā€ plans. Instead, I focus on sustainable, individualized care that honors your unique needs, lifestyle, and goals. Look forward to working with you!

Approach to care

My approach is centered on creating a caring, compassionate, and completely judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and understood. I believe that nutrition care should never be one-size-fits-all, so I take time to learn about your unique needs, experiences, and goals. Together, we’ll build a realistic and sustainable plan that fits your lifestyle. I’m here to guide you with evidence-based support, encouragement, and empathy, helping you make meaningful changes at a pace that feels comfortable and achievable for you. My goal is to empower you to nourish your body, build confidence, and create long-term habits that truly support your well-being.

Your first session with Yasmin

During your first appointment with me, you can expect a welcoming, judgment-free space where we focus on you, your goals, your challenges, and your vision for better health. We will go over your medical history, current habits, lifestyle, and relationship with food so we can create a personalized plan that feels realistic and sustainable. Together, we’ll identify meaningful steps you can take right away, and I’ll provide guidance rooted in evidence-based nutrition while honoring your preferences, culture, and daily routine. My goal is for you to leave feeling supported, informed, and confident about your next steps on your wellness journey.
