About Yi

I am a Registered Dietitian passionate about helping you feel empowered, supported, and confident on your health journey. If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice, frustrated by chronic conditions, or unsure where to begin, you’re not alone and you don’t have to navigate it by yourself. I'm here to listen and support you as you build a more balanced relationship with food and your body. I have experience in helping individuals navigate a wide range of health concerns, such as diabetes, body weight challenges, chronic kidney disease, cancer, and hypertension. During our sessions, you can expect personalized guidance, ongoing encouragement, and evidence-based strategies. Whether you’re looking to fine-tune blood sugar control, support weight goals, or simply feel more confident and comfortable in your body, I aim to make nutrition feel approachable, flexible, and sustainable. I’d be honored to support you one meal, one choice, and one milestone at a time.

Approach to care

My approach to care is encouraging, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I blend empathy with clinical expertise, and I take the time to truly listen and understand your routines, preferences, symptoms, challenges, and goals so I can offer nutrition guidance that’s not only effective, but also realistic and sustainable. You can expect practical strategies that build your confidence. Together, we’ll create a nutrition plan that fits into your life and supports long-term well-being, not just short-term results. I believe that progress isn’t just about lab results or numbers on a scale, it’s about how you feel in your body, how food fits into your life, and how empowered you are to take care of yourself. Our sessions will be a space where your concerns are heard and your progress, at every level, is recognized and celebrated.

Your first session with Yi

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We'll talk about your health goals, current habits, medical history, and any challenges you’ve faced with food or managing a condition. This is a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where you’re encouraged to share your story at your pace. I’ll ask questions to better understand your lifestyle, symptoms, preferences, and values, so we can begin building a plan that works for your body, your life, and your goals. This is just the start of a collaborative and supportive journey where we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, and I’ll be here to guide and cheer you on every step of the way.
