About Yomayra
Clinical work taught me that nutrition care is both technical and human. Over 11 years as a Registered Dietitian I’ve supported patients in hospital settings and through home infusion, and I draw on an MS in Nutrition Science from Texas Woman's University plus RD, LDN, and CNSC training to guide decisions. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, I recharge with audiobooks, hiking, and time with family. Those simple joys keep my counseling grounded, practical, and compassionate.
Approach to care
Evidence guides the choices we'll make, and compassion shapes how we make them. I blend science-focused protocols with a warm, nonjudgmental stance so we can translate research into doable habits. I'm direct and action-oriented, so we'll set clear steps, track progress, and adjust as life changes. I practice weight-neutral care, consider the whole person, and emphasize education so you gain the tools to sustain change long term.
Your first session with Yomayra
Expect a relaxed, collaborative visit where we review your medical history and look together at lab work and biometrics to understand the bigger picture. We'll talk about routines, wins, and barriers in a judgment-free space, then choose one or two practical goals that feel achievable. You don't need to have it all figured out; we'll create a clear, manageable plan and the next steps to build lasting habits.
