About Zainab

Balancing science and everyday life is what drew me to nutrition. I earned both a Bachelor's and a Master's in Nutrition Sciences, and as an RD with three years of clinical and community health experience, I focus on making nutrition and everyday meals simple and achievable. I bring clinical know-how from hospital settings and practical solutions from community work, so plans are realistic and rooted in evidence. Outside of work I love cooking, reading, and exploring California with my family, and I bring that same curiosity to helping people build lasting habits.

Approach to care

Nutrition counseling should be both evidence-based and humane. I use current research to guide clear, practical strategies, while keeping our conversations warm and nonjudgmental. We'll focus on behavior change and sustainable habits rather than weight, using a weight-neutral lens. I prioritize the whole person, looking at mental, emotional, financial and physical factors, and I make education a part of every visit so you understand the why behind each step. Expect direct action steps, and compassion as we work together.

Expect a calm, supportive conversation where we'll review your medical history, any available lab work or biometrics, and take a deep dive into your relationship with food. I want to hear about your routines, preferences, wins, and frustrations so we can set short-term, realistic goals together. There's no judgment and you don't need to have everything figured out. We'll leave with a few manageable steps tailored to your life, so progress feels doable from the start.
