About Zoe
Hi! My name is Zoe, I have been a Registered Dietitian since January 2025. I have history in nutrition counseling as I worked as a student counselor during both my undergraduate and graduate programs. I also work as a clinical dietitian and provide inpatient nutrition counseling regarding the relationship between nutrition and chronic disease. I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients and everyone is welcome! I look forward to working with you!
Approach to care
I have a patient-centered approach to care, and I use motivational interviewing techniques to try and bring motivation from within my patients. This helps my clients find ways to create changes that last and work with their individual situations. My background in clinical nutrition also helps me work with my clients to manage the nutrition-related aspects of various chronic diseases. These include kidney disease, heart failure, and diabetes.
Your first session with Zoe
The first session will likely flow as follows: Introductions, discussion of nutrition history, description of my role as a registered dietitian and my counseling style, and we will end by creating initial recommendations and a plan for future visits.
