Patient reviews
āJudy is such a kind, friendly person who really took an interest in solving my bad habits. I was a big snacker and used every stressful situation as an excuse to go to the corner store to buy bags of chips (lol, which was daily). Now, it rarely crosses my mind that snacks are what i need to "fix" my stress. Still enjoy chips but now maybe a only a couple of times a month. Thank you for helping me figure out the root causes and how to snack/ eat healthier and more enjoyably!ā

About Judy
Provide individual nutritional counseling for clients with disordered eating and/or eating disorders by helping individuals develop a healthy relationship with food, recognizing, accepting, & respecting the role food has played in life. She has over 25 years of experience as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist as well as a trained chef, offering a unique combination of skills using a non-diet approach that empowers clients to enjoy food and optimally manage their wellbeing.
Approach to care
A compassionate approach informed by the core truth that we are all born with the ability to intuitively nourish our bodies. Mixed messages around food cultivated by our culture, threaten to disconnect us from this innate skill. She will work alongside, empowering clients to rediscover the ability to intuitively eat as well as work towards healing the relationship with food. We are far more than what we eat and everyone deserves a life free from intrusive thoughts about food, welcoming the challenge of helping bridge the gap between what we want to accomplish and how to achieve it, and enjoys sharing her knowledge and expertise enabling clients to embrace optimal wellbeing.
Your first session with Judy
She will learn more about you. She will want to know what brings you to the session and what you are looking to achieve as it relates to nutrition and wellbeing. This first session is really a fact finding session. This information will be helpful for developing a plan together that works best for you.
