“Listened to me and helped figure out realistic goals when I was really overwhelmed.“
by Theodore on May 26th, 2025
“Sean took the time to get to know me, asking thoughtful questions about my goals and relationship with food. I really appreciated that we’re starting with small, realistic goals, especially because with ADHD I tend to jump in full speed and then burn out. Sean is clearly knowledgeable and gave evidence-based advice that made me feel supported. I especially like the inclusive, nonjudgmental space Sean created. I left feeling understood and encouraged. “

About Sean
I aim to help people build a positive relationship with food and find ways to easily incorporate balanced nutrition into their lives. As a disabled and neurodivergent dietitian, I am passionate about increasing nutrition education and access for the disability community; I also have experience working with disabled folks and creating accessible, balanced nutrition strategies. While I work with all dietary patterns and nutrition considerations, I am a long-time vegetarian and am very familiar with vegan/vegetarian/plant-based eating.
Approach to care
My goal is to be your resource for evidence-based nutrition information and help you find ways to add nutrition to the foods you already know and love - without focusing on calories or the numbers on the scale. I also recognize that there are a lot of things that impact our abilities to access, prepare, and enjoy nutritious food; because of that, I will always prioritize your needs and circumstances as we identify realistic opportunities for change and develop a plan, together, that works for you.
Your first session with Sean
Most of our first session will be getting to know you and your nutrition questions and goals. I’ll ask about your background, health history, lifestyle, and current food and exercise habits. We will also begin building a plan for future sessions by breaking down your nutrition goals into small, manageable steps. The health questions we go through are pretty basic, but we can always skip any questions or topics that you do not want to discuss. Our sessions should be a safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings around food, and if anything gets in the way of that, we can move on. I am here to support you - you are in control of your nutrition and health journey!
