Patient reviews

  • I’ve been meeting with Sofia for a few weeks now, and it’s been going great! It has been very helpful to have someone who is very flexible and kind, working with me to improve my health. Sofia has provided me with resources and motivation to help me cook more at home and focus on heathy, protein-forward meals that work with my busy schedule. I’m glad I made the choice to start putting my diet and health as a priority in my day to day life!

  • Sophia is the best nutritionist I’ve ever had. She puts me at ease with her warm smile and friendly way, but also gently holds me accountable. She focuses exactly on what I need — menu planning, portion control, nutritious choices, and calendar scheduling for shopping, cooking and meals. I feel like she’s my cheerleader and my weekly partner in health and in weight management. Highly recommend!

  • Sofia understood that I needed to develop eating “habits”. We are developing them together without pressure. I like that we focus on just a couple of changes I can make each time. If I need recipe ideas, she is able to immediately send them to me. Recently she sent me 3 recipes for smoothie snacks. I am an older adult and I tend to do comfort food eating. She seems to understand that without making me feel guilty.

About Sofia

Hi, I’m Sofia! I’m a Registered Dietitian specializing in women’s health, passionate about helping people feel confident, energized, and supported through every stage of life. I’ve always loved the connection between cooking, science, and healthcare, and my early experiences working with a dietitian showed me just how powerful nutrition can be in improving overall health and quality of life. I support people navigating key life stages and transitions such as fertility, preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum, as well as hormonal conditions including PCOS and menopause. With a background in both clinical and community nutrition, I focus on simple, sustainable strategies that fit into real life, without restriction. I believe nutrition should feel approachable, flexible, and enjoyable, and I’m here to help you build habits that support your health long-term while still enjoying food.

Approach to care

My approach to care blends evidence-based nutrition with a holistic, whole-person perspective to understand the full picture of your health. I take the time to consider your lifestyle, preferences, symptoms, labs, and personal goals so we can uncover the root causes behind how you’re feeling, not just focus on the numbers. Together, we’ll create a realistic and flexible plan tailored to your body and your life. Whether you’re balancing hormones, managing blood sugar, supporting gut health, or working toward a healthy weight, my focus is on sustainable progress, not perfection. My goal is to empower you with the tools, education, and confidence to make informed choices, feel more in tune with your body, and create lasting habits that support your health now and in the future.

Your first session with Sofia

Our first session is all about connection. I want to get to know you — your story, goals, routines, and what inspired you to seek support. This is a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can share openly and feel heard. We’ll talk through your health history and daily habits, but most importantly, we’ll begin building a relationship based on trust and collaboration. By the end of our session, you’ll leave with a few personalized steps to start moving toward your goals and a clear sense of how we’ll work together moving forward. My hope is that you leave feeling understood, supported, and optimistic about your journey ahead.

Hobbies

Outside of my work as a dietitian, I love exploring new places and cultures. I studied abroad in London and Dublin, and my partner is from Brazil, so travel has become a big part of my life and inspiration. When I’m home, you can usually find me playing tennis, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or going to concerts with friends. I love anything that brings people together around good food, music, and connection.
