About Sofia
Hi, I’m Sofia! I’m a Registered Dietitian who’s passionate about helping people feel their best through simple, sustainable nutrition. I’ve always loved the connection between cooking, healthcare, and science, so becoming a dietitian felt like the perfect fit. When I was a child, my family met with a dietitian to improve our health, and seeing how food could have such a positive impact inspired me to follow this path. I specialize in women’s health, weight management, diabetes, heart health, and food allergies. My background includes both clinical and community nutrition, where I’ve supported people in making meaningful, lasting changes. I believe nutrition should feel approachable, flexible, and enjoyable — and I’m here to help you build habits that support your health and fit naturally into your life.
Approach to care
My approach blends evidence-based nutrition with a functional perspective to understand the full picture of your health. I take into account your lifestyle, preferences, and any underlying factors that may be affecting how you feel. Together, we’ll look beyond the numbers to uncover the why behind your symptoms or habits and develop practical strategies for lasting change. Whether you’re managing blood sugar, supporting heart health, navigating food allergies, balancing hormones, or working toward a healthy weight, we’ll create a plan that’s realistic, flexible, and sustainable. My goal is to empower you with the tools and knowledge to make meaningful, long-term improvements, so you can feel energized, confident, and at your best every day.
Your first session with Sofia
Our first session is all about connection. I want to get to know you — your story, goals, routines, and what inspired you to seek support. This is a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can share openly and feel heard. We’ll talk through your health history and daily habits, but most importantly, we’ll begin building a relationship based on trust and collaboration. By the end of our session, you’ll leave with a few personalized steps to start moving toward your goals and a clear sense of how we’ll work together moving forward. My hope is that you leave feeling understood, supported, and optimistic about your journey ahead.

Hobbies
Outside of my work as a dietitian, I love exploring new places and cultures. I studied abroad in London and Dublin, and my partner is from Brazil, so travel has become a big part of my life and inspiration. When I’m home, you can usually find me playing tennis, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or going to concerts with friends. I love anything that brings people together around good food, music, and connection.
